Carole Morey: Carole is a rare breed: a Lake Worth native born and bred. She has more than 31 years experience working with animals in veterinary medicine. It is a true testament of her loyalty toward coworkers and clients and her dedication to patients that she has worked for only two practices in that 31 years.  She has nine cats, a dog named Baxter, a Sun Conure named Ra, and her newest addition, Ruby, a long-haired, miniature Dachshund.  Carole has a soft spot for our feline patients. She has been "Mom" to countless orphaned kittens. She has spent many sleepless nights, up at all hours to heat bottles and nurse kittens. Kittens who have grown into beautiful, healthy cats in loving homes that she has found for them. Carole is our clinic anchor. You'll see her up front just about every day.

Courtney Bainter: Courtney began her career in veterinary medicine at Animal Clinic of West Lake Worth, with the previous owner Dr. Frank Bandell, twelve years ago. She has faithfully served our clientele and their beloved pets ever since. Her relationship with ACWLW actually began long before her employment. As a child, Courtney would often accompany her parents when they brought her dogs or cats in to see Dr. Bandell. These experiences fostered her interest in veterinary medicine and ultimately lead to her joining the clinic team in 1997. Most of Courtney's tenure in the clinic has been dedicated to the management of day to day activities, though she also brings excellent technical skills into play when needed. Courtney effortlessly merges the world of superior veterinary medicine with a pleasant customer experience, sometimes under difficult circumstances. Courtney has the patience of a saint. Or perhaps a Dane! Gracie, her merle Great Dane, has been accompanying Courtney to the clinic every shift since she was seven weeks old. Though Courney's life is taking her in other directions, she still holds the clinic close to her heart and maintains a part time position with us, enjoying every moment. Gracie as well!

Diana Drogan:Diana, a South Florida native, is a recent graduate of the University of Florida with a BS in Animal Sciences with minors in Zoology and Spanish and a MS in Management with a certificate in New Venture Creation.  She is our resident student volunteer so you will see her during spring, summer, and winter school breaks.  She started her veterinary career with Dr. Johnston four years ago as her veterinary technician in her traveling veterinary services business.  She started volunteering with us when Dr. Johnston started here in 2007.  However, her passion for veterinary medicine goes all the way back to second grade when she decided she wanted to be a veterinarian after volunteering at her local animal hospital.  Her life-long dream finally came true this year with her acceptance into the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine.  A recent bride, she is the proud mother of three: Bella, a four-year old yellow Labrador mix she rescued from County Animal Services; Kylie, a two-year old DSH tiger stripe she rescued from her neighborhood; and Bing, a six-year old Yorkshire Terrier.  Her experience branches out into almost all areas of veterinary medicine including animal research, clinical practice, and exotic animals.

"Never believe that animals suffer less than humans. Pain is the same for them that it is for us. Even worse, because they cannot help themselves."...Dr Louis J. Camuti
