Born at Pather Ridge big cat sanctuary and conservation facility in Wellington, Isabella first came to our clinic at
5 days of age. Jaguars are indigenous to South America. They are endangered due to loss of habitat. Jaguar births in captivity
are relatively uncommon.
Isabella visited our clinic for regular cub
checkups and routine vaccination.
It has been a pleasure to watch her grow from a tiny, odd looking cub into a lovely, healthy juvenile.
Jaguars can reach up to 250 pounds in weight at their full growth. So, while Isabella has gotten
far too large to come to our clinic, she can be visited at the Panther Ridge facility. (see our links page)
